Inagakuen was established to develop new procedures in high school teaching, meet the diversified learning demands of students, and improve upper secondary education.

As part of "Surroundings Improvement Project"(of the new transportation system), Inagakuen was designed to be the center of a lifelong education city. Although equal in size to three ordinary high schools, this school is established, managed, and maintained as one school.

The major aim of Inagakuen is to develop and cultivate the personalities and individual characteristics of its students.
